Read matches and year arrows together

Green is an exact match. Amber means that multi-value traits share an entry but their full lists differ. Red means no shared entry. A year arrow points up for a newer target and down for an older one. Missing data is unknown and should not be treated as elimination evidence.

Keep the facts that already match

Preserve exact matches and read amber cells as intersecting but unequal lists. Role, species and region can have multiple entries. Ask whether a new candidate would produce the same exact, partial or different relationship to your previous guess. A familiar name and a name compatible with all the evidence are different choices.
