How does scoring work?
Daily rounds start at 1,000 points. Each extra guess reduces the score by 120, with a 200-point minimum for a win. Practice offers Easy (800), Medium (1,000) and Hard (1,200). The timed challenge adds up to 200 speed points. A loss scores zero.
Read an ability icon as evidence
This mode shows an icon from a champion’s passive or active abilities. Submit the champion, rather than the ability name or key. The standalone image is your clue; this mode does not produce the classic attribute matrix.
Three ways to inspect an icon
- Identify the central shape before interpreting colour: equipment, a creature, a spell shape or a trail of movement can suggest different candidate groups.
- For two plausible champions, ask which actual ability could explain that shape. A similar colour alone is weak confirmation.
- A miss does not enlarge the icon or change to another ability. Reconsider the same clue using the names you have eliminated.
- A finished round reveals the champion and ability name. There is no separate ability-key bonus question.
After the reveal, inspect the champion’s ability icons together on its profile. Keep one distinguishing shape that separates two similar icons. That gives you a practical next recognition task without memorising every ability description.
