Against the clock

120 seconds. Trust your instincts.

Find the champion in 120 seconds. The timer continues if you leave or refresh.

How does scoring work?

Daily rounds start at 1,000 points. Each extra guess reduces the score by 120, with a 200-point minimum for a win. Practice offers Easy (800), Medium (1,000) and Hard (1,200). The timed challenge adds up to 200 speed points. A loss scores zero.

Evaluate visual evidence in 120 seconds

Against the clock uses skin artwork to identify a champion. The deadline starts when the server creates your round and ends after 120 seconds. Changing tabs or reloading does not restart it. This is practice and does not add points to the daily leaderboard.

Speed points still require a correct answer

  • Easy, medium and hard change the attempt limit and base score. Resuming an existing round does not start its clock over.
  • Form two candidates in the opening seconds, then inspect equipment or body details that could separate them. Random rapid guesses use attempts without a clear test.
  • A miss widens the frame but also lowers the accuracy component of a winning score. Inspecting the newly revealed area is worth the pause.
  • Only a win earns a speed bonus, based on server-measured time remaining, up to 200 points. A timeout scores zero.

Review the point where time pressure made you miss new evidence. If the clock disrupts your method, practise the same approach in normal Skin detective first. The goal is to reach a better explanation sooner, rather than simply click faster.
