How does scoring work?

Daily rounds start at 1,000 points. Each extra guess reduces the score by 120, with a 200-point minimum for a win. Practice offers Easy (800), Medium (1,000) and Hard (1,200). The timed challenge adds up to 200 speed points. A loss scores zero.

Find a champion by reading the attribute table

A classic guess is more than a name: it compares seven clues with the target. Read gender, role, species, resource, range, region and release year together. One promising cell should support a theory, rather than make you ignore the rest of the evidence.

What will your next guess test?

  • Green means the stored values match exactly. Amber in a multi-value field confirms some overlap, not the whole list.
  • Red means the lists have no stored entries in common. Unknown means data is missing; it cannot support the same elimination.
  • An upward year arrow points toward a newer target, and a downward arrow toward an older one. Keep both a lower and an upper boundary.
  • Repeating a champion produces no new information and is rejected. Say which question a new candidate will answer before submitting it.

After the round, compare two of your candidates in the workshop. Separate evidence that was confirmed from associations that misled you. Daily games allow eight guesses; practice lets you repeat the method at different difficulties.
